Enter a given name (optional). The given name search type is either begins with or contains depending on the radio button selected. ‘Begins with’ returns records beginning with the given name(s) entered e.g. searching for
Click on Search to display records that match your search criteria.
Click on Reset to clear fields and re-enter your search criteria.
The advanced options allow you to narrow your search query and change the way in which resulting records are displayed.
Click on Search to display records that match your search criteria.
Click on Reset to clear fields and re-enter your search criteria.
Records matching your search criteria are displayed.
The number of records that match your selection criteria will also be shown.If this is a large number i.e. greater than 300 you may wish to use the Advanced Search options to narrow your search results.
Records on subsequent pages can be displayed using the navigation buttons provided on the menu bar.
Results per page can also be changed (located on the menu bar) to display less or more records on a page.
Information displayed on the Results page includes name, date of death, age, last abode, cemetery and section.
To obtain further information on a record, click on More Information, Surname or Given name. This will take you through to the individual record and may provide further details such as location, location map, service type, grant expiry date and other interments in the site.
The Details screen (refer screen image below) offers additional information in relation to the deceased, including the following:
The Interactive map gives you access to the cemetery map associated with the interment location being enquired on. Using the tools provided you can zoom to the site location, zoom in/out and pan to other areas of the cemetery map. A description of each tool is provided below:
Viewing location maps is available from the Details screen for interments with a known location.
Click on the link ‘View Location Map’ – a site location map you will be presented in a new window.
Whilst you can print this window using the browser print functions, the better print option is using Adobe Reader (refer ‘Printing a location map’).
When finished with the location map, close the screen to return to online records.
Adobe Reader is required to print a location map – this software is free and can be downloaded from the Adobe website (http://www.adobe.com).
Printing location maps is available from the Details screen for interments with a known location.
Click on the link ‘Print Location Map’ – you will be presented with the following screen:
Click ‘Open’ to view the location map in Adobe Reader.
Click the print button in Adobe Reader to print the location map.
You can also save the PDF file for later use.
When finished with the location map, close Adobe Reader to return to online records.
The Details screen offers additional information in relation to the deceased, including details of other deceased interred in the site. This information is displayed at the bottom of the Details screen.
Clicking on the surname or given name will display the details of that particular deceased.
